dose anyone no if norton has a free trail offer i can use to see if i like the product and how i can get it

i personally use a free antivirus have been for several years now and no problems with viruses you can find it at just remember to use the virus cleaner before you download the actual antivirus software.

I don't like Norton. Takes too much control of your computer. Once it expires and you do not like it hard to get rid of it. Avast.com has a free home version. Has really worked well with my wireless. :)

I agree Norton is basically a virus itself, as it uses a lot of resources and rules your computer, though it is a good anti-virus there is just too much overhead for me to actually promote it.

the best AV program is NOD 32 ---but has a modest cost.
Otherwise AVAST is a good free one

AVG is free and good.

The best AV is PC-cillin Internet Security. Have used it for over 10 yrs and have no serious complaints. They even respond to queries!!! Relatively modest cost. Their new Anti-Spyware system is fantastic.

Norton is like a bad child, it takes too much time and energy to keep it happy. And then it still is not satisfied. Responses are unheard of!!!

Avoid NORTON Ghost like the plague...you have to be fearless and ruthless to kill it!
