Yet another dual boot question
 

I have an HP machine preinstalled with Vista Home. I successfully got WinXP installed, however, the machine won't access the internet now.

I have a LAN card, running satellite, through a Linksys Workgroup Switch.

Any idea why it won't connect?

Does it connect with vista operating system and not with the XP system?
If that is the case, more than likely you need to install the XP drivers for the NIC (network card) card.

start > control panel > system > hardware tab > device manager button and look for the network adapter and see if it is properly installed. Any yellow ! or red X or completely missing (may show as unknown device). will indicate it is not installed properly.

Resolution Problem.
