I bought a second hand computer a couple of years ago and with it I got a CD with Windows XP Pro but I don't have the serial numbers to use it to re-format my computer. Can anyone suggest how I could sort this out?

Hello, you could try the product key finder using the program from syschats' download section but you won't be able to get the key from the CD.

this is a perfectly legal an apropriate aproach try this look online for Product Key the info ya need or look for free one at twocows or download.com i use this one when refurbing old coms alot have been tore off com or just plane not legible note this is only good if the cd you have is original that belong with pc ya can use a generic to get ya online but will have to purchase rights from ms or it willshutdown in 90 days so good luck an hope the cd ya have goes to that comp
