trouble Windows Task Manager


In my system i have 2 user accounts. in 1 account, i am getting the SHUT DOWN dropdown menu in WINDOWS TASK MANAGER. But not in 2nd account if i want to get SHUT DOWN dropdown menu in 2nd account what to do.plz give the information about it.

my geus would be that hmm

1st is this the right forum for this isshue ...
2nd .. that the accounts are members of diffrent user groups

eg the one with more options is a member of administrators

u will need to make the your second acount amember of the administrators ...

posibly worth noteing that anny acount in the administrator groupe should have a password set , to improve security .

I think you may need to see if it's disabled in the group policy.

You can use the Group Policy editor (Gpedit.msc) under the following location to configure Start menu features:
User Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Start Menu and Taskbar
Policy settings for the Start menu in Windows XP
