You can partition the drive and install it on a new partition. Also you could run it in a virtual machine in XP, like Parallels, VMWare or VPC.

This would be the preferred method, they you can run both OS simultaneously. I believe the 2004 edition is now free to the public

The latest version of Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 is free as well...
