Pls, What should one do before and after one changes a laptop Hard Disk?
 

Please What should one do before, while and after changing a laptop hard disk. A Dell D600 laptop of mine fell to the ground and the hard disk went bad. Displays 'No primary hard drive found.' so I bought a new hard disk. Want to know what is necessary to do before, while and after installing the hard drive. Or how to install it generally. Thanks a lot in anticipation.
