Does the make of RAM make much difference?
I hear so much about certain brands, well is it like most things in life the branded memory is more expensive but you are just paying for the brand name not the quality?

What make/brand of RAM do you have in your machine?

The make, makes little difference, i've tried many kinds and it is the type that matters most. The type (eg: PC133, PC233..... PC400...etc) these numbers, correspond to the speed at which they can accept and transfer data. Thus the larger the number, the better (theoretically) it is. This has limitations from the other memory devices on your system including the processor and motherboard. The standard is 333-433 these days.
