The make, makes little difference, i've tried many kinds and it is the type that matters most. The type (eg: PC133, PC233..... PC400...etc) these numbers, correspond to the speed at which they can accept and transfer data. Thus the larger the number, the better (theoretically) it is. This has limitations from the other memory devices on your system including the processor and motherboard. The standard is 333-433 these days.
