What is your Internet connection?
 

People from around the world connect to the Internet via many kinds of connection, so which one you are in? For me, I'm using ADSL 1MBps broadband, well, the service here is very bad, it slows down often.

Mine Is DSL at moms at dads is A T1 Connection. I Love my dads net, saaddly his company is going out of bussiness.

I have Comcast Cable, it works great!

I have a 1/2meg ADSL connection.

Same here! I love Comcast (Although every once in a while it goes down for a bit :( ) But overall, Comcast is fast and pretty reliable :)

Right now I am on a wireless and it is REALLY REALLY fast. =)

PC uses DSL and Cable...

Dad's company computer uses t1 or t2. I love working on that computer when I can.

cable here..1500kbps...a little slow but a little ex alreadly.

I have 10 Mbit cable board band internet and with a router that shares 3 slots

together so about 3 Mbit for my own Computer, and it works pretty good.

I have DSL now. I was stuck on dial up before though, it was really terrible.

I know, cause i still have it, but really badly want to change it to ADSL or anything better.

Awww.. I feel sad for you. I can only imagine how horrible that is. I would die if I had to go back. Why don't you get fast Internet? Is it to much money, or just don't care to get it?

Origionally we had cable then switched over to AOL...which of course, completely sucked. Then we went back to cable and we have very few problems with it.

Add me to the list of cable modem users. I get a good speed for $40/month (I think that's what I pay, anyway).

I think I would suffer tremendously if I had to go back to dial-up. :-|:mad::cry:

Lol, Missie i can afford it. But the problem is my parents, they wont take brodband even though we have a broadband modem and stuff needed.:(

Comcast, fast and reliable, at least in my location which is in Oregon.

I've never heard of Comcast. So i think it is only available in the US, and not in Australia.

Im using 384kbps DSL connection.It was actually called Wifi.
Anyone using this same internet connection technology.This connection is wireless.It is not connected to any phone lines or from a sattellite dish from the ISP.The only problem with these connection is the speed is unstable it may rise or drop.But overall im satisfy with my ISP's service.

I'm on DSL and I just upgraded my speed. They said it should be "UP TO" three times as fast. I love the "UP TO". It's like the price ads that say $3.99 and up. You get to the cash and it comes to $13.99... I guess I got the "UP" one.

Does anyone have that site where you can check your speed? I'd like to see.

Can you say slow? I am on dialup! It is the worst connection a man could have. I get 45.2 Kbps!

I am on cable modem also but have an awful problem with speed. My brother has dial up and it is faster than my cable and he has an antique computer running windows 95!:sconfused: :embarrassed: :disappointed:

I'm on DSL at work and Cable at home (COX) to be exact and they both run about the same. I would never go back to dial up never!!:tongue:

Actually, I think I have the worst connection.:( Dialup 26.4Kbps :(
