web pages don't load properly
 

back ground colors won't load on web pages. I use modzilla but the problem also presents on internet explorer as well. I first noticed it on myspace, the background colors on my page were not visible. I restarted in safe mode and the problem was solved. It's not only the colors, some links aren't visible either. It's obviously a setting problem, but for the life of me i can't figure it out. I've used all the resources that i have available to me with no success. Please help. If anyone knows the solution please respond. Thanks.

1st thing that comes to mind is that there's something wrong with your displayadapter or it's settings. Try and see if you can see the colors in the image in the following link:

http://www.pagetutor.com/pagetutor/m...s/net216-2.gif

All values other than FFFFFF should show a color.

If not, check your display adapter settings to see that you're running in at least 32 bit colordepth. I suspect not...
