video files open as audio file in windows vista
 

When i transfer video files from windows xp computer to windows vista it will only open as an audio file in windows movie maker and media player. I am trying to make a movie but i cant because of this, how can i transfer them into video files?????

right click the file and choose "open with" when you find the correct file association check the box to always perform with like files. That should solve the problem.
