Hi folks,
A computer novice here...
I have a new sony Vaio, running Vista.
When running it on the battery, it switches itself off without warning when the battery reaches 10%. Sometimes a tiny bubble comes up on the bottom toolbar for 2 seconds, but if you are not watching at that moment and forget to check the battery status all the time it just switches off... If I am surfing at the time, it then cannot recognize my wireless stick.... I then have to restart it, switch it off properly, start it again and log into the web from scratch, all told over 10 minutes lost....
It would be nice to be able to e.g. go to the bathroom without losing my searches etc.
I have played with the settings, but the icon is tiny and I forget to keep checking it. I would love if it would beep like a mobile phone when getting low... Why don't Sony at least have this as an option? If I want to open e.g. the control centre it beeps for no reason....
Any help much appreciated
Al
