Default Is there a program for CD/DVD burner error detection?

Is there a program for CD/DVD burner error detection? Someone told of errordoctor and regcleaner32. Does anyone know the link to errodoctor? And which one would be better to use?

If you are looking for error detection on cd's and Dvd's then CDCheck does the trick for you

"
CDCheck is a utility for the prevention, detection and recovery of damaged files on CD-ROMs with an emphasis on error detection. With CDCheck you can check your CDs and discover which files are corrupted. CDCheck does support DVDs "

It is free for personal use.

You can download it from here

If you are looking for Registry Errors then "RegScrubXP" Is free software for windows 2000/xp

It safely cleans junk out of the Windows 2000/XP system registry. All changes made to the registry are fully restorable to it's original condition.

It is free for personal use.

You can download RegScrubXP from here

Thank you for the quick reply. Thank you for both of the downloads. I was looking more for the regscrubcd. But I do have a question about the CDCHECk. Is that for all cd's or is it just limited to cd's used just for the pc?

I use Alcohol 120% to create an image of a CD and then burn it onto a new one if it has errors on it. I had an old game called Thief 2, I wanted to play around with it a bit for fun, but when I tried to install it it crapped out on disk 2 in the install, said something about an error in one of the video files. I made an image of it with Alcohol and it installed no problem.

I think its for cd's used for pc's and audio cd's as well.

"The program can be used with all local or removable media (CDs, DVDs, disk drives, floppy disks, ZIP drives, USB keys...) visible by the operating system (Windows Explorer) and also with audio CDs. In addition CDCheck also gives detailed information (manufacturer, type, capacity...) about inserted CD or DVD media."
