The problem is the ink was low ... I have a Canon i550 printer with win. XP. The problem is the ink was low, I replaced the ink tanks. I still get the message the ink is out. :sconfused: I have unplugged the power and usb cable and reconnected, no help. I have turned the printer on and off several times, no help. I have removed the ink tank holder and cleaned reinstalled still no help whats next. Any ideas? |
Sounds like a software/Driver malfunction, try re-installing the software for your printer, if that doens't work, it is probably a question for Canon, as it would be an internal hardware error. |
This may be an issue with the IC Chip, which function is to calculate the amount of ink you have in your tank. http://www.epsonchipresetter.com/ |

I can' t find the right words to describe it - WOW! Thank you so much William for your great idea. :) |
Those ink indicator lights on Canon printers can get really messed up, but and this is a but, at least Canon ink replacement is cheaper than HP ink replacement. Have a friend who has a large format Canon printer and is very happy with it. |
