sticky opening page I have a problem....naturally or I would not be posting here...lol. Here it is . I am not exactly sure what my internet providers' installation guy did....yet I have a sticky opening page which is huge (much bigger than my normal res on the screen) , and I can't get it to close , or go away. It covers up the entire screen and I have to drag it down just to gain access to my desktop. Are there any ideas out there? I need all the help I can get ...and would really Really love to see this page disappear. thanks |
Are you talking about an internet browser window, like internet explorer? If so what website is opening? malicious websites often try this to force you to click one of their links. To close it try a keyboard shortcut Alt+F4 to close current window in focus. Windows Key+M to minimize all open programs to the task bar. Then you could right click on taskbar window and choose size.
