Keep trying till it works. Do not just press and hold down or press only one time...toggle(press and release quickly, continuously) it quickly.
If you can not still get it to work then do this:
Start >run and type
msconfig
then use the enter button
in the pop up window choose the
BOOT.INI tab
then select the multi(0)disk(0)partition(1)......in the window and it should open the greyed out boxes below the window...put a tic in the s
afe Boot box then click oK and reboot the computer. It will reboot and auto start in safemode.
After running the anti-virus and your anti malware/spyware applications in safe mode you will have to repeat the steps and uncheck the box to normally boot your system.
