Default Signal Frequency Error

My comp has a problem where a black screen with red letters say my timing is off ????< 1.333 i think is the times. What is the problem i should fix?
I tried a new ram card right before this problem started, and it has continued after i removed it. It happens ramdomly, but mostly in an old game. The new ram card was bought at a computer/electronics store. I went in with old card and tried to get another one. The new one has one more chip on it than old card on one side, and none on other side. The old card had the same chip setup on both sides.

I would first try your BIOS settings. When computer boots hit F?? for set up. Restore defaults in the setup and check to see the memory settings are set to default or auto.

Hopefully that takes care of the problem.
