Router Help

I have Comcast high-speed internet through cable. As a modem, I am using a Motorola Surfboard provided by Comcast. I am looking for a router that can be used to route the high-speed internet to both a MAC and a PC laptop. So far, the routers I've tried have not worked. Any suggestions?

Linksys products works well for me.
