Using the new Windows Vista is really great especially when you get a thumbnail preview of the files you have open. Unfortunately, it slows down your computer, so you spend more time waiting while you browse your drives. So how do you disable this feature? Go to Start, then All Programs, then Accessories, then the Windows Vista Explorer. Click on the Organize button and choose Folder and Search Options. A window will pop up for the Folder Options. Click on the tab for View. Beneath Files and Folders, check the box saying Always show icons, never thumbnails. Then click Ok. You’re all set! No more thumbnails, faster computer!
