The ranking system is based on the number of posts you have. You have to have a certain number of posts to aquire each rank, 0=Jr member, 50+ =Member, 100+ = Sr member etc etc. That is not a reason to post random one line posts, just to get your post count up, as they will be deleted by the Mods and Admin and your count will decrease.

I would never place pointless posts when there are so many questions that need to be answered
it would just be a waste of time
I dont think he said that u were doing it. I think he just said that just because it increases ur rank in the forum members shouldn't just go and post unwanted stuff, and also small posts, that's all.
I have got 380+ posts at the moment. And i am still at Senior Member. I dont think i can help anybody else with increasing their post count. Sorry man. This is a comp help forum, that's all.
is there more and how do u get them?
i want to be important for a change, can you help?
Actually, you already are important! Everybody is... we're a community and were are all equally important because we are a part of it. It doesn't matter what rank you have or how many posts you have... ranks are only there to know how long the user has been there (well essentially...) and to know if that use is just messing around in a forum or actually trying to help and so on. All that matters is that you hang around and try to help out others or get help.
So it really doesn't matter how many posts you have and what rank you have, everybody is important and will be... always .
