Also you can try this great software from Google its called
Picasa I use it with my Sony digital camera instead of sony's default software.
Apart from importing digital photos from your camera it has lots of other excellent features like finding, editing and sharing all the pictures on your PC. Locates all your pictures (even ones you forgot you had) and sorts them into visual albums organized by date with folder names you will recognize.
