problem with folder view

please help me out, I can't view hidden folders. When i try to change the folder view settings, I can't find the FOLDER VIEW option on my computer or in the control panel. What should I do? Help me out!:confused:

it is called folder options:
in any window of files/folders: tools\folder options\view(tab)\hidden files and folders

Please post your OS if this is not the solution.
