I have recenlty replaced my old radeon 9200 graphics card with a Nvidia GeForce 6200. Since the swap i have been having problems with any game i play. The game wil load and begin playing smoothly, but then at random the game will crash, bringing up windows error reporter. I have unistalled the old drivers and unpdated the new ones. Anyone got any ideas?

Look for an Intel graphics driver in add/remove and uninstall that driver as well.
are you overclocking the card/system at all?
If so then maybe back off on the OC'ing a bit and see what happens then.

If it still gives an issue then try uninstalling/re-installing the card using an older graphic then what you are presently using.

Did you get rid of all the old radeon 9200 graphics card drivers? If you have remnants of these this will cause problems with nVidia chipset drivers as well.

Also if you have a TV tuner card or software installed, it can conflict with the new card.

I have found some old ATI driver files from my old card. The files however reappear after i delete them. Ive tried using some software and also tried deleting them manually by using command prompt etc. Any idea how i can remove them?

If your mainboard has an onboard graphics chip, disable it in the BIOS or in the device manager.
Also make sure you have uninstalled all ati software in the add remove programs dialog, like the multimedia center etc.

I have three Compro T300 digital tv tuner cards in my AMD 64 3200 box, and a Compro T650 digital tuner card in my AMD 64 6000 box and never had a hardware irq / driver conflict.

If you used that Driver Cleaner programme as I suggested, it requires you do it in Safe Mode to get rid of all remnants...

I had issues with the capture drivers conflicting. Mostly with ATI cards on boards with Nvidia chipsets.
