printer won't print mfc420
 

hi,

I have a problem with my brother mfc420 printer. It won't print from word, command prompt, anything, I tried a different usb port, turning it off, and clearing for paper jam. Nothing. When I try printing the document screen for printer and fax says there is an error, but that's it. I hope this is enough information for someone to give a response. Thanks!!!!

ps thanks to the two who responded to my problem with startup--problem fixed.

To make sure there is no problem with the printer try to print a Demo page right from your printer (through Control Panel -> Report/list on your printer) if it is printing, then the problem may be with printer drivers on your computer.

You can try reinstalling your printer drivers.
