Please help. I had to reinstall Windows XP on my home computer. The CD was given to me by a friend and when I ran it, it asked for the password to her computer. She does not remember the password. I have another CD that I do know the password to but I cannot get it to run when the login screen comes on. Is there a way to uninstall the version that needs the password without having the password? |
i believe you mean the cd key? there is no password on an XP cd. put the disc in the drive and start your computer, simply install another copy to a new directory and use the remove dual boot to get rid of the first one after that. I believe i already added that tutorial, if not i will add it after my midterm tonight :) |
