Pinging problem I am in a lab. I got this problem: All computers are connected via NIC in a single network. I got to have a compuer that has a single way communication. This computer is within the network. When i ping this computer, from another computer, the connection couldn't be established. But this particular computer can ping other computers successfully. What may be the cause of this one way pinging? |
it may be firewall issue, please disable the firewall on that particular pc & check |
pinging problem I have already disabled firewall on that computer. Firewall has nothing to do with the problem i guess. |
hi please lets know your work setup. which device you are using for networking & the pcs are in domain or workgroup |
Wild guess... ;) I don't have a clue about any of this...so, off the wall. Sounds like a path is corrupted... 1. establish IP of both computers 2. search registry for "old" path of one to another; use paths that work from other unites as modules or models 3. be sure that old settings are still o.k. 4. you may need to write a new path between the mother ship and one of its satellites |
The computers are connected through NIC card. |
