I currently have the windows office 2007 and have no plans of upgrading anytime soon. I do not think there would be much to expect on the newer 2010 office as I think the 2007 already suffices. Probably, we could just expect on some acceleration add ons but nothing more significant.
But if you are in the market for a new copy, then go for the newer one.
