Default Note Pad of Windows

I copy notes into Note Pad.

Most times it copies thrice when I press ctrl+V once.

How to avoid this ?

Thank you.

You might have the response keys set too fast and it is tripple copy/paste.

I don't remember setting response of any keys.

Anyway if you say so, it must be.

Could you please tell me how to reverse the process and

set it to normal function.

thank you.

start > control panel > keyboard and under speed tab you should have a couple of slide controls to adjust the variable speed of type repeat and pause repeat(length). Try a couple of different settings to see if that helps out!

I am testing your advice now.

Could you please tell me how to access Note Pad. I have seen it somewhere here, but it is lost to me now. It sounds silly, yet it is true.

Thank you.

Default Ounce of Prevention

All of windows tools are either in the Windows folder itself, or more than likely in the system32 folder.

I always go through both folders, and put a folder on my desktop/taskbar with shortcuts to all the tools found there. Looking at an icon is a lot easier then sorting through a few hundred files to find something that might be what you are looking for. And a lot easier than using the Start>run routine...
