Hi.. well yeah im another one of the victims that has no sound with vista... and belive me i spent almost 5 hours trying to fix it, i tryed allmost everything that i could found on the internet.
but the thing is that i have all the drivers software on a cd that i got with the computer but when i put the cd in.. it says Error code : 2 (22) the system cannot find the file specified.
so my question is. what am i to do? how can i start the cd
please help

If you are using a manufacturer's supplied driver disc then all you need to do is insert the disc and then look for the audio driver. It is(should be ) a self executable file that will auto install the driver. You do not need to have windows try to install it for you or have the install driver wizard from device manager reinstall it for you!
