No sound on Windows XP
 

My computer has no sound. I keep getting error message about SndVol32.exe not installed and go to add/remove programs but no help there.

How long have you had this problem?
Can you remember if you did anything like install new software or drivers prior to losing sound?
Have you completed a full virus/spyware scan?
Can you do a full system search for the file and find out if it's on your system?
