How can I add a folder to the right hand side of the Start menu, where all the My Documents etc are. I have a folder which I want to add there which is on my D:\ drive, a partition of my main HDD. I have managed to change the My Documents folder to a folder set up on my D:\ but cant figure out how to add this other folder.

that is a very good question and i will look into the registry hack to do that. I know how to remove items, rename items, and restrict items in that list, but adding seems to be beyond my current knowledge. After a good night's rest i will see what i can come up with.

as best i can come up with, it isn't possible, well not without a LOT of work. it seems while the left pane is mostly abstractions of folders and files, the right is nearly all hard coded. Thus you can add or remove the items supplied, but nothing more.
I am still in the process of a few attempts, but i doubt they will prove succesful. The best advice i could give is, if you are willing to give up one of the folder links they provide, attempt to change it's default path to the one you were looking for.
