I have Vista already installed on my Desk Top. Have installed 2nd Hard Drive to run XP on. when I try to install XP from CD Drive to 2nd Hard Drive. XP does not see the 2nd ard Drive. The 2nd Hard Drive is primeary & active. Any clues.

Are you booting to CD first?
Is your system primary IEDE or SATA?

you might try removing the other HDD before installation of XP.

I think my system is SATA.
Can I disconnect the HDD that has Vista installed, then install XP on the 2nd HDD I installed then reconnect the Vista HDD.
