When i double click on files or folders , the files and folders are not opening , but when i click on menu bar that is single click it works .

Have you checked the mouse controller in the Control Panel to see what settings you have enforced on it?

Can't recall just now, but I know there is a spot to set the mouse to open files on one click or two.
