Mathematical Operations On Ms-dos
 

Hi,
When i am talking about ms dos with my cousin she said that she can do the arthimatic operations using ms dos like adding subtracting etc. i wondered by hearing that actually all the thing i know about ms dos is it does only the operations on or to "files" and "disks" but she says she can calculate using ms dos is it possible??? i want to know am very much interested in dos

I believe batch scripting is what you are looking for. You can check out:

for the basics of creating a .bat file, you can also type commands directly into the command prompt, but it is likely that your cousin is using a bash script or a C program to accomplish arithmetic on the command line.

sir can you tell me about batch scripting??? i don't know anything about it!!!
