i have a singer futura embroidery machine that requires software. i went to install it on my new laptop but the cd case the disc came in is missing the back cover with the access code on it. is there anyway to override the need for a product key code? or is there a way to retrieve it from the disc?

There is no way to override the product key legally. You can possibly find an illegal hack for it but then you have a possibility of causing other issues as you open your system up to being unprotected when a hack is used.

I take it that this is your legal purchase of the program and that you have it installed on your old computer. If that is the case then you can google for magic jelly bean or SIW and install one of them to your other machine and see if they bring up the code that will allow you to use the program on the new computer.

Other than that you will need to contact the vendor and see what they have to say.

thanks for your reply. you are correct, it is my legal copy. i have tried to contact the manufacturer, but for some reason haven't been able to get through. i intend to keep trying.
