itune installation problem

I am experiencing the download problem of itune+QuickTime to my new pc. It gives following error messages and i am unable to install it (trying to load iTune 8.2 and QuickTime 7.6.2 versions) ... Can anyone please Help......
While loading for a while it says...

"could not access network location jre\lib\ext\."
on pressing OK it says..

"The installation of QuickTime did not complete successfully . iTunes requires QuickTime."
pressing 'OK' then shows the screen with..
"iTunes installer interrupted" message
