You might have tried deleting a program or application, but you later find it difficult as you cannot see that particular program in the Add/Remove panel. Below are the steps which would help you to delete such programs: Step 1: Navigate to “C:\Windows\Inf folder”. There in the right panel, scroll down to “sysoc.inf”. Open that particular file with NOTEPAD. It will look like…
“[Components]
NtComponents=ntoc.dll,NtOcSetupProc,,4
Pinball=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,pinball.inf,HIDE,7” Step 2: The term "HIDE" in that entry hides that application from your Add/Remove Programs dialog box. So to add Pinball to the Add/Remove menu, delete the word HIDE from its entry. Leave the commas that surround it. Step 3: Save that particular file and restart the computer.
That is it, now you can see that particular program displayed in the Add/Remove Programs dialog box. Another Method (when the programs are not in sysoc.inf file) Step 1: Right click the Program's shortcut and click on PROPERTIES button to gain the target path where the application folder is located and delete that particular folder. Step 2: Navigate to Start/Run/Msconfig/Startup and make sure it is not listed or checked there. If so, uncheck it. Step 3: Remove the program listing from registry by navigating here…Start/Run/Regedit
