I brought a laptop from a friend of a friend a couple of months ago who was moving out of town for dirt cheap!! Well come to find out it has some type of software on it that prohibits me from getting pass the software! It says it is the property of BESTWAT RTO, so that means he was paying monthly on this laptop, and he must had stop paying on it and as a result they must have had software on it that they can deactivated from their offices if someone had stop paying their monthly bill!!
When you turn it on it says,"The hardware on this computer has been deactivated" It ask for a password!!!
Is there any way I can unlock this software??

Try to format the PC in Safemode. I think it is an easy way to get rid of all the dirty.
