How to build a reasonable computer? I am looking at putting computer parts together for myself. Main purpose of the machine is to help out with general work and office tasks. No cutting-edge machine but it should be made with modern parts, at least extensible and upgradeable. I am not a gamer but I might be hooking the system to the TV, as a media centre. I can afford to spend between $800 and $1,150 but not more. I need help working out which parts are compartible with each other and selecting those that will best suit my need. Please choose computer parts from the list below.
