How to replace missing Speech Recognition in Word 2010 using Windows 7?

Microsoft office 2010 has many features which really do make our functioning much easier. But in Word 2010 somehow they have missed the feature of voice recognition. The previous versions of the Word had this feature but the new version some how missed it. It is a very complicated one but when we know how to use it then it will really be very helpful.

By using the voice recognition tool in Windows 7 we can bring this feature back into the Word 2010. The following steps will guide you how to do the same:

Step 1: Click on Start button

Step 2: Enter “Windows Speech Recognition” in search panel.

Step 3: If you are using it for the first time then the set up wizard will start.

Step 4: When you select the device then it will ask you to read the sentence, read it and click on Next.

Step 5: At the end, it will ask you to take the tutorial for the better understanding of the tool.

Step 6: When you are done you can see the voice recognition tool running at the top.

Step 7: Open the Microsoft Word 2010 and start dictating what you want to type in.

In this way, you can save a lot of time in typing. Just speak up what you want to type and then that’s all that will be there typed in Word document.
