In today’s time of busy and hi-tech life sometime we may feel like taking a trip down the memory lane and play some old DOS games such as PAC man. There is a utility called D-Fend Reloaded which makes can make it easy to make it possible.
D-Fend is the dos emulator which makes you install and run may DOS applications without even touching the dos prompt. It can be installed in both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of the Windows 7. The following steps will help you how to install it.
Step 1: Download D-Fend reloaded (Link provided below).
Step 2: Click on the exe file. The installation wizard will open up.
Step 3: Click on Next to continue.
Step 4: Select the user-defined installation option and click on next.
Step 5: Select the portable installation mode and click on next.
Step 6: Now when the installation is completed go ahead and open the application.
Step 7: Click on Accept all settings when it asks for.
Now you have successfully installed the D-Fend reloaded, now to install the dos games and application you have to follow the below steps:
Step 1: Simply drag and drop the zip file of the application to the D-Fend’s reloaded window.
Step 2: It will automatically extracts the program files.
Step 3: It will ask you to name the DOS applications. Enter the name and select OK.
Step 4: It will remind you about the shortcuts to enter full screen by pressing alt + Enter and to exit the application by pressing Ctrl + F9.
That’s all now you can open the application by clicking on the icon and enjoy playing all the old games. After all old is gold.
