If you are a Windows Media Player fan like me, then you surely hate launching the program every time you want to listen to an audio CD on your computer.
Instead of that you can make the Windows Media Player play the audio CD automatically in a Windows 7 operating system once an audio CD is inserted.
Below are the steps:
Step 1: Click the START button
Step 2: Now, click on the CONTROL PANEL tab to open it.
Step 3: Here, click on Hardware and Sound and click on AutoPlay.
Step 4: Here, beside the AUDIO CD, select the option “Play Audio CD using Windows Media Player”
Step 5: And if you want the same option to be applied on DVDs, choose on “Play DVD Video Using Windows Media Player” beside the DVD Movie option.
Step 6: Click the Save button.
And that is all. Now, whenever you insert an audio CD or DVD in your drive, Windows Media Player will automatically open and play the CD or DVD.
