Since the day Gmail was introduced, it has become everyone’s favorite. And like me, no wonder each and every one of the Gmail service user do have number of duplicate contacts in their contact list.
It is not at all easy to check for each and every duplicate contact. Cleaning or merging duplicate contacts all together is a better and quicker option.
Fortunately, Gmail provides us with the option of merging all the duplicate contacts all together. Here are the steps:
Step 1: Login to your Gmail account.
Step 2: Click on the link labeled as CONTACTS on the left hand side.
Step 3: Now, click on the button labeled as FIND DUPLICATES.
Step 4: Once you click on that, it instantly displays you with all the duplicate contacts on your address book.
Step 5: Here, you can unmark the contacts that you do not want to merge.
Step 6: Once you are done, click on MERGE button.
That is all.
Now you will find that you have successfully merged all the duplicate contacts which hardly took a minute.
