This applies to both ATI and Nvidia cards ( I run both).

My motto on this is as follows: if it isn't broke, why fix it.

That is, if my applications run fine, I keep the old drivers, i don't try to push for newer drivers.

I imagine this does leave me in the dust to those of you who religiously update their video drivers.

Your thoughts?

i would always prefer to update the drivers for my sound and video cards. its always advisable to do so. maybe they help your system perfom in better way
