How to edit context menu in Windows 7?

Let us start with knowing what context menu is. It is the menu that come up when you right click by holding the shift button. It is one of the short cut from where we can go to the settings. If you want to add some more short cuts of your choice to the context menu then give Context Menu Editor a try.

Context Menu Editor is the utility which can be used to add up the application of our wish to the Context Menu. The most prominent feature of this utility is that it can also add icons by itself, all we need to do is to provide the path for the same.

The following steps will help you how to do the same:

Step 1: Download and install Install the Context Menu Editor.

Step 2: Click on the Add tab.

Step 3: Put in the path of the application that you want to add in the context menu.

Step 4: Put in the path of the icon that you want to add for the same application.

Step 5: Type in the text that you want to display for the application.

Step 6: If you want to add a web site in the context menu. Type in the url of the website that you want to add.

Step 7: Type in the icon path that you want to add for the url.

Step 8: Type in the text that you want o display for the same website.

Step 9: Click on Set button to make the changes effective.

To delete any application or website that you have add you can click on the remove tab and then right click on the application or web site that you want to delete and click on the delete option to remove the same from the context menu. To launch the Registry editor at any time click on the Launch Registry Editor tab.
