How do you alter Spell Checker, so it won't check every other word?
 

I was given a WIN XP tower; but the Spell Checker (which I turned on) suggests a different word for almost every word in my Outlook Express e-mail. How annoying! How did it get this way? I just want it to check common mis-spelled words.
