My husband has somehow hooked up two computers to our stereo system so we can hear them over the regular stereo surround sound in the entertainment room. Our computers are in there. Does anyone else do this? I am kind of curious if this is how sound is normally hooked up. My husband claims he invented it but I do not believe him.

haha invented no, my roomate in 1st yr university did this instead of buying speakers for his computer.
Computers have the standard output line (for headphones) in every audio card/onboard audio. Any system with an input line for audio can have this setup
