HELP my pc keeps shutting down
 

Help my computer (window xp) keeps shutting down. it shuts down randomly. and when i on it straight after it shuts down, its shuts down just before windows loading screen then i have to wait 10 min before i can on it again. then goes to a screen where u can on it normally, safe mode, safe mode with network, or on before the program sometimes it will go blue screen and says checking C drive


At 1st i thought it was the temp so i put in another fan and now my fire icon read at GPU 54C, Temp 1 68C, Core 54c, core 54c the rest are blue arrows pointing down (temp 3 is -128C),
then i thought it might be dust so i clean it with conpressed air can. im also virus scan it
I think it can be a power problem is there anyway i can check if it is a power adapter problem without having to get a new power adapter or could the be another problem like some wires not in properly

Wat u shud do is palce an XP CD in the CD-ROM drive and enable boot from cd in BIOS as 1st boot device. when it loads, press R to repair the OS.
Not: R shud be the second R. and not the 1st for recovery console OK.

hey i was checking a power option and i found something Suspicion i found a message sayin " the ups service is currently stopped " in power option could that be something

-Laptop or desktop?
-Wat is the presice problem?
-What is the error msg?

Im on desktop (changed it to window 7)

Ok my mate took my pc home but it didn't shut down on him :confused:
i have another pc at home that works fine so im gonna get a volt guard
