Google Hosted is by far the best web-based email for domain use. I started using Gmail for my website in early February. It has all the bells and whistles of Google's Gmail. I've tried the usual Horde and SquirrelMail and was not impressed. Too many errors and losing emails through the extensive software flaws. With the hefty 2 GB mailbox for each of the twenty-five
free email accounts allowed on the service, I believe it is best. You have other features and access to Google Talk, Calendar, and a great control panel.
To register for the service you have to enter your information. You can do it by clicking
here. Then all you do is wait for your welcome email with all your information and directions of use. Then contact your hosting company or domain carrier to make the simple changes to your MX Server settings.
You are all set to use your Gmail account with your domain. The only problem I have is the long domain Google uses for your account. (ie: h_tp://mail.google.com/hosted/yourdomainhere.com ) Enjoy and tell me what you think.
I rate Gmail 5 out of 5 Thumbs Up!
