French handwritten letter to translate to English I am trying to translate a handwritten letter in French to English. I am able to scan the letter and send it to MS Word or Word Pad. However, when I copy the French letter and try to paste it to a translator, it ends up with a bunch of letters and figures or a blank. I have tried several OCR's but they do not accept handwritten recognition to text. I would appreciate suggestions to be able to copy and paste the handwritten French letter. Thanks. |
Suggestion only... May I suggest that you take the written script, and print it out as clearly and carefully as you can, and then re-enter it to the sanner and the OCR program. You will have to train the prog as usual. Then once that is done, try translating it in small portions, a sentence at a time for example. Most on line systems work pretty well. Give BabbleFish a try. AltaVista - Babel Fish Translation Then try a few others if that does not work. Go to google and then enter your key word as "translate" or "translator online" |
