This is really starting to get on my t**s now.
My folder views keep changing themselves and its really annoying me. When I open My Documents from the start menu the view is "Tiles" like I want, but when I open it from My Computer it is in "Thumbnails" A few folders are like this.

I have changed the settings from right clicking in the window and using the drop down, I have changed it in Edit>View and I have changed it in folder options under Tools. Still it changes back, but only when I open it from My Computer....

Any ideas??

try diong it from the my computer menu (if you like all your menus the same) set it to tiles then press (at the top) apply to all folders, this will set all folders (hopefully by any means opened) to your desired option, then manually change any other folders back to how you want them. I had this problem when i first installed XP and this method seems to give a base for it to start from.
Hopefully it does the same for you

I don't really want to change all my folder views. Any other suggestions will be welcomed. If not then looks like I'm gonna spend alot of time changing all my folders back.....
